Incentive Conditions
- This type of intervention is also suitable for accompanying the Young Farmer installation process, promoting the necessary skills of young farmers at an early stage of installation, and thus being decisive for the rejuvenation of the agricultural business fabric.
- This intervention contributes to the following PEPAC targets:
- Number of people benefiting from advice, training, knowledge exchange or participating in CAP-supported European Innovation Partnership (EIP) operational groups in order to improve sustainable performance in economic, social, environmental, climate and resource efficiency terms.
- Number of people receiving advice, training, knowledge exchange or participating in CAP-supported European Innovation Partnership (EIP) operational groups related to environmental or climate performance.
- National Territory.
- Legal person, private or public, with activity in mainland Portugal, alone or in partnership, with technical skills in the areas identified
- Submission of a 3-year Action Plan, which must demonstrate technical coherence and be aligned with the PEPAC objectives. This plan must include a summary of the starting situation with the identification of the geographical area of operation, the actions (promotion, specialized technical support and monitoring) of the intervention, containing for each action the financial plan and respective timetable, and the goals to be achieved, namely the number of people who will potentially benefit from the intervention.
- Taking into account the scope of the intervention, the action plan must also contain specific information related to the following areas:
- Management support associated with the interventions: “Agri-environmental zone plans”; “Management of the cork oak forest by results”; “Integrated management in critical zones” and “Protection of species with forest-environmental status”:
- Awareness-raising among the target population and specialized technical support for beneficiaries within the scope of the agro-sylvo-environmental commitments contracted;
- Preparation and implementation of technical standards and other guidelines for the protection and management of agricultural and forestry systems related to the interventions in question within the framework of interventions with agro-sylvo-environmental commitments.
- Specialized technical support for the introduction of good water management practices associated with the interventions: “Development of sustainable irrigation”; “Improving the sustainability of existing irrigation systems”:
- Awareness-raising among the target population and specialized technical support for the final beneficiaries of the Interventions relating to Sustainable Collective Irrigation;
- Preparation and implementation of technical standards and other guidelines to improve the management of water resources for the final beneficiaries of interventions relating to Sustainable Collective Irrigation.
- Specialized technical support for the installation of young farmers associated with the interventions: “Support for the Installation of Young Farmers” and “Productive Investment for Young Farmers – 1st Installation”:
- Awareness-raising among the target population and specialized technical support;
- Promoting the skills of young farmers at an early stage, particularly those that have an impact on the profitability and sustainability of “new” farms.
- Commitments
- Comply with the multi-annual action plan;
- Prepare and submit an annual activity report on the implementation of the action plan.
- Simplified costs in the form of indirect costs on human resources expenditure of 35%;
- Maximum amount of 90,000 euros per action plan.
Incentive Conditions
This type of intervention is also suitable for accompanying the Young Farmer installation process, promoting the necessary skills of young farmers at an early stage of installation, and thus being decisive for the rejuvenation of the agricultural business fabric.
This intervention contributes to the following PEPAC targets:
