Tiago Braga shared his experiences and mentioned some financing strategies to help future entrepreneurs launch their businesses.

Tiago Braga, Start PME’s Private & New Business Director, was live on the RTP2 program Sociedade Civil, on February 11 at 2pm, to talk about the challenges of starting a business. Tiago Braga shared his experiences and mentioned some financing strategies to help future entrepreneurs launch their businesses.
The debate, which was also attended by Carlos Carvalho, President of Anje, and João Antunes, a consultant from the Order of Certified Accountants, addressed the challenges and essential considerations for those wishing to start a company, highlighting that although many dream of being successful entrepreneurs, this path requires careful preparation and in-depth knowledge of both the business and the market.
Throughout the program, Start PME’s Private and New Business Director reinforced the importance of a solid Business Plan, but also the fundamental role of European Funds and other financing mechanisms, namely recourse to banks, in overcoming the challenges inherent in launching a company.
Tiago Braga also reinforced Start PME’s commitment to supporting and guiding new entrepreneurs, contributing to the development of sustainable and successful businesses. The consultant also highlighted the internationalization opportunity available to Portuguese companies in the digital age as a key element in the growth of their businesses.
During the program, topics such as the first steps to starting a company, the importance of a solid business plan, financing strategies and how they can help entrepreneurs launch their projects and boost their growth, market analysis and the resilience needed to face common obstacles in entrepreneurship were also explored.
