Hiring Support

Estágio +Talento (Internship + Talent) is an IEFP measure aimed at supporting hiring, promoting employment and getting young people and unemployed people with level 6 qualifications into companies. The incentive provides for a contribution of up to 80 per cent for the organizations promoting the measure.

Incentive Conditions

  • Internships lasting 6 months, not extendable, with a view to promoting the integration of unemployed young people aged 35 or under and with a qualification equal to or higher than level 6 of the NQF.
  • Objectives:
    • To complement and develop the skills of unemployed young people in order to improve their employability profile, through practical experience in a work context;
    • To support the transition between the qualifications system and the labour market, namely by promoting the integration into working life of young people with appropriate levels of qualification.

  • Continental Portugal

  • For trainees
    • Monthly internship grant of the following amounts:
      • 2,2 IAS* – level 6: 1 120,37 €
      • 2,4 IAS – level 7: 1 222,22 €
      • 2.6 IAS – level 8: 1 324.08 €
    • Meal or food allowance
    • Labour accident insurance
  • For promoting organizations
    • The financial contribution from the IEFP is based on unit costs, per month and per traineeship, as follows:
      • Traineeship grant
        • 80% contribution in the following situations:
        • Internships for professions with a gender underrepresentation;
        • Internships located in inland areas:
        • Internships for people with disabilities;
        • When an open-ended full-time employment contract is signed with the trainee within 20 working days of completing the traineeship.
    • – 65% contribution in all other situations.

  • Natural or legal persons, of a private legal nature, with or without a profit motive.

  • Young unemployed people registered with the IEFP or who have emigrated permanently for at least 12 months, aged 35 or under and with a level of qualification equal to or higher than level 6 of the NQF.

Incentive Conditions

Internships lasting 6 months, not extendable, with a view to promoting the integration of unemployed young people aged 35 or under and with a qualification equal to or higher than level 6 of the NQF.
Objectives:
To complement and develop the skills of unemployed young people in order to improve their employability profile, through practical experience in a work context;
To support the transition between the qualifications system and the labour market, namely by promoting the integration into working life of young people with appropriate levels of qualification.

For trainees
Monthly internship grant of the following amounts:
2,2 IAS* – level 6: 1 120,37 €
2,4 IAS – level 7: 1 222,22 €
2.6 IAS – level 8: 1 324.08 €
