Unprecedented Funding Opportunities
The new plan provides for the publication of 220 calls for tenders, including multi-regional ones, with an associated allocation of €3,159,690,532, spread across the various regions of the country and the various policy objectives of Portugal 2030, in the social, economic, environmental, maritime and territorial areas.
With regard to the mainland's regional programmes, the sum of the amounts already out to tender and the projection in this update of the Annual Call Plan, points to an estimated allocation out to tender on 31 December 2025 of 74% of the allocation for these Portugal 2030 programmes.

The plan covers several strategic areas, including:
- Research and Innovation: Encouraging the development of new products and services.
- Competitiveness and Internationalisation: Supporting the expansion of SMEs into foreign markets.
- Entrepreneurship: Encouraging the creation of new companies and business models.
