Incentive Conditions

  • The “Green Productive Investment” incentive system aims to support the development of new low-carbon and innovative products, processes and services, namely through the incorporation of new raw materials, new processes and technologies, promoting sustainability and the efficient use of resources.
  • The aim is to stimulate the decarbonization of economic activities and promote a paradigm shift in the use of resources, with a special focus on the tourism sector, in order to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy.

  • Algarve.

  • Maximum co-financing rate is 40%.

  • Companies of any size are eligible.

  • Fund allocation of 1,000,000 euros.

  • Operations that carry out at least one of the following actions are eligible for support:
    • Investment projects for energy efficiency in hotels, for example for adapting buildings to climatic conditions, both in warmer periods and in colder periods, through the use of sustainable and efficient materials and technologies, heating and cooling systems inside developments, sanitary water heating;
    • Adoption of energy efficiency measures in industry to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, in parallel with the adoption of consumption monitoring and management systems that make it possible to manage and optimize energy consumption, taking advantage of the potential of digitalization and automation.
