Incentive Conditions

  • Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Local Government.
  • Energy efficiency actions in Local Government public infrastructures and awareness-raising, information and planning actions.

  • Algarve (NUTS II)

  • Up to 60% grant.

  • Municipalities and their associations;
    • Local business sector companies 100% owned by public entities;
    • Regional energy agency;
    • Other entities, through a protocol or other forms of cooperation with the aforementioned entities.

  • Have a total cost of more than 200,000 euros.
  • Eligible expenses are those that are approved under this call for proposals, resulting from the actual costs incurred in carrying out the operation, namely:
    • a) Acquisition of services for the preparation of studies, architectural and engineering projects and other preparatory and advisory activities directly linked to the operations envisaged as eligible and priority;
    • b) Civil construction and other engineering work;
    • c) Acquisition of equipment, monitoring systems, information, technology and software that are indispensable to the “Aims and Objectives” described in this Notice;
    • d) Acquisition of site supervision and safety coordination services;
    • e) Price revision arising from the applicable legislation and the works contract, affecting the value of the work actually carried out;
    • f) Tests and trials;
    • g) Non-recoverable value added tax (VAT) applicable to the eligible costs calculated;
    • h) For operations with an eligible cost of more than €500,000.00, the cost of making a video, lasting no less than one minute, to present the operation, its objectives and results, with the assignment of copyright to the funding bodies, is eligible.
