For the second year running, Start PME is a partner of E-Commerce Connect, an event dedicated to e-commerce taking place on 26 and 27 March at the Hotel Grande Real Villa Itália, in Lisbon. Tiago Braga, Start PME's Private and New Business Director, will take part as a speaker in the 2025 edition and present the main support programmes for businesses in the sector.

For the second year running, Start PME is a partner of E-Commerce Connect, an event dedicated to e-commerce taking place on 26 and 27 March at the Hotel Grande Real Villa Itália, in Lisbon. Tiago Braga, Start PME's Private and New Business Director, will take part as a speaker in the 2025 edition and present the main support programmes for businesses in the sector.
The event has the institutional support of AICEP and brings together some of Portugal's biggest companies, such as Grupo Nabeiro and Sonae. E-Commerce Connect will be attended by recognised brands in the E-Commerce sector such as Uber, Shopify, Decathlon, Fnac, among others, in a networking session that promises to improve companies' digital presence.
Tiago Braga, Director of Private and New Business at Start PME, will present some of the financial incentives available to companies in order to accelerate and expand their business in a global and increasingly digital world. The new Portugal 2030 and PRR supports such as Internationalisation via E-Commerce, Coaching 4.0 and Qualification and Internationalisation of SMEs will be highlighted during the session. Incentives that offer financial and technical support for innovative projects, promoting strategic sectors, technological innovation and new business opportunities in digital markets.
More than 200 companies and e-commerce platforms
The aim of E-commerce Connect is to bring online shops closer to the most innovative technological services and to publicise multiple national and global digital solutions and services.
Over the course of two days, more than 30 success stories will be presented. More than 1,000 one-to-one meetings are planned, where the biggest brands will be able to share their experiences. The organisation expects an audience of between 300 and 350 participants from the biggest brands and e-commerce platforms, retailers in Portugal and decision makers.
